About Francis Filmworks
Francis Filmworks was born out of the concept that there are stories all around us and they are always happening. The task of capturing these stories, telling them, and then sharing them is integral to our human nature as well as when building and maintaining your mission. Stories evoke emotion; they inspire us and help us in understanding our lives and the lives of those around us. Francis Filmworks thrives on the commitment of storytelling when working with individuals and organizations they partner with.
Robbie Francis earned his BA in English and his MA in Education. After spending a decade in the teaching field he returned to his roots of photography and videography in 2011 and began Francis Filmworks. While creating Francis Filmworks, he continued working with a local independent school as Creative Project Manager. As Francis Filmworks has grown, Robbie has continued in this role where he plans, collaborates, executes and delivers video and photograph stories to utilize in multiple marketing channels including social media, web content, print and digital mediums. In this role, Robbie has been an essential part of the schools’ marketing team, propelling them to maintain enrollment growth and community engagement at great capacity through his unique visual storytelling.
Robbie works with a variety of clients in the Western North Carolina region and beyond; including restaurants groups, summer camps, medical practices, artists and non-profits. With each client, Francis Filmworks helps to tell their story visually, offering content to use for multilevel marketing purposes.
Living in Asheville for over 25 years, Robbie is attuned to the growth of WNC and the need to stay grounded in your vision while remaining flexible to market’s trends and growth potential. Robbie personally enjoys all that WNC has to offer in the areas of outdoor adventures and the arts. When not filming or shooting photos for Francis Filmworks, you can often find him riding gravel, listening to his record collection, enjoying local foods, flying his drone and spending time with his family.
We look forward to learning your story, sharing your story and helping to cultivate meaning into your mission.
